Weekends Woes

My weekends are usually spend on work. Faceshop event last week, it was mega tiring. Working hours were too long, furthermore we were all in heels with only an hour break.

Glad that i have finally found a full time job. I pray the last stage, medical checkup will go well smoothly. Cant afford to mess things up this time round. I need some faith..

Excited to start my new journey, my first ever full time job!

Cooking is my hobby. My mother enjoys it. I guess it was hereditary. First time making aglio olio. I was never a fan of it. But recently ate a delicious one at bugis! Then the craving came..

1. Sauteed Mushroom.
Dry the mushroom to minimize cooking process. Diced Garlic into the pan and then mushroom. About 3 minutes, add in black pepper and parsley flakes. Cook till very dry.

2. Pour olive oil and 3 gloves of garlic. Fry till it turns slightly brown and then add in chili padi/Chili flakes(Pizza Hut), and then parsley.

Parsley plays a very important role for me.

Bought this iphonee cover which i want it for the longest time at Far East Plaza at level 1! I love that shop. It has everything in affordable price!

My favorite mask!

Dr. Morita!

I just started trying Dr. Morita. Have always wanted to try but it is at a higher end in Singapore. Bought it in Taiwan recently!

I love it.
I have rather high expectations for masks. All these years, i stayed with Naruko. Now Dr.Morita is slightly better!

The sheet is thin and losta essences.

Not forgetting about Naruko! Served me super well for years! Both are Taiwan brands btw.

I usually mix and match my masks to achieve better result.  And yes, i do use it everyday.
One box is only S$6 in Taiwan, but $15 here, double the price omg.

Etude House Honey Mask Pack

It works well in rejuvenation, but it is very hard to wash off plus it is sooooooo sticky. One single pack can use up to 3 times.

Another one is the similar one but yogurt. It does not work. It does no difference to my skin.

Eyebrow embroidery

I did eyebrow embroidery again. Said to last 2 years, but it started fading too much during my first year period.

Previously did it at Sophia Brow house at Parkway. Did a little research about it. It's damn important you don't just go to any random shop, its gonna be on your face permanently for 2 years.

The difference between eyebrow tattoo is that eyebrow embroidery last only 2 years, whereas tattoo is forever and it turns green at the later part.

My natural eyebrow is very fine with hairs spread like peanut butter.

The first one i did was 4D eyebrow embroidery. It was so much more expensive compared to the normal one. The strokes are very fine, one by one, to fill up your brows.

What i did now is just normal embroidery, its not that natural, just like coloring your brows. The whole thing is black without any fine lines. But its so much cheaper.

The first treatment is at Sophia brow house.
The second is at the Brow & beauty boutique.
Is not that Sophia brow house did a bad job, but because the beautician that did it for me moved to that area.

First they will shape your brows and then put numbing cream. If  you have zero pain tolerance like me, its best for you to leave it longer. It doesn't hurt at all, but you can feel she's drawing on it.

Mine is just normal embroidery. It looks like cockroach leg. But when the healing process is over, it looks exactly the same as 3D/4D. So don't waste your money on that!

They will ask you to purchase a cream for the healing process, but don't buy it. You may just apply aloe vera on it. Plus their cream has shimmery on it, it is so weird to have shiny eyebrow when you are walking down the street.

I applied Nature Republic Aloe Vera.

Advise: Go home immediately. On-lookers will pop their eyes out looking at you.Bring glasses to soften the look of your eyebrows. The next few days you are expected to look like la bi xiao xin.

In the next few days, you will experience bruising pain. Definitely tolerable. It will also start to peel. Use cotton tip to apply the aloe vera on and at the same time can get rid of the disgusting peeling that refuse to drop.

I never regretted doing this. How nice is that when you wake up every morning with your eyebrows already done. Not to say, you can also minimize time when preparing!

Review of Datsumo Labo

Im a paying customer of Datsumo Labo since its first opening at Orchard International Building. A Japanese manager served me was really good. Im a sucker for good service. After consultation, treatment started, i was treated with care and i was sure i will be good in their hands.

However, after the overwhelmed population, their service dropped down 100%. I was treated so differently. They were rushing on every treatments. Furthermore, my areas are dedicated. I was in fear for the whole treatment  that they might accidentally cut/hurt me.
I wasn't late for the treatment. I do not understand the rush.

During treatments, they were talking among themselves too. This reflects their professionalism.
After treatments, the areas should be cooled down by placing the cold towels. Many times they have forgotten about it too.

I'd rather pay a little more than risk hurting myself.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought 2 deals from groupons for underarms hair removal. The first one was at onlyaesthetic. It was acceptable at first although the hard-selling. After that, they did not even bother to put cold cream before treatment, so as to minimize the pain and also to prevent from hurting your skin. During treatment, you can smell bbq smell. How scary is that?

Next, i bought another one from MUSEE. Although im just a groupon customer, i was treated so well. Their service is the best. No hardselling, no rushing. A few times, i wore like -_-, but they did not treat me differently. This is what i really like about them. As you know, there are some people that will look down on you when you do not wear presentable. Like they dont even want to serve you that kinda?
They treat every customer with proper care.
